Born from the challenges of independent freelance work we are a family of multidisciplinary creatives that encompass general practitioners alongside deep specialists. Our collective approach finds solutions through research, design and production. 

Anomalous Space is our home for creativity and collaboration, a flexible environment available to hire for your next shoot, workshop, presentation, meeting, pop up, film location or social event.

Client: Grindr

INTO – Prolific

Role: Video production / Cinematography

Brief: Grindr’s online lifestyle magazine INTO commissioned Prolific as an exclusive video series to spotlight unique queer individuals who are game changing pioneers in their field.  

Response: Working closely with Grindr’s producers to create intimate and revealing portraits of each character, the films were shot on location in NYC to create a familiar and comfortable setting for each subject. In them we meet Mickey Boardman, the editorial director and advice columnist for Paper Magazine. Shequida Hall, a classically trained opera singer, songwriter, and playwright who migrated from Jamaica to New York before finding a life in Drag. Matthew Camp, a former stripper and go-go boy who launched his own line of products inspired by his experiences in gay bars.

Outcome: 3 x video content for website and social platforms. 

Our preferences are the way we define who we are to the world. A calling card for anyone who wants to know what we’re about. They’re the people, places and epically cool stuff we discover, connect with, love, and share with the world (over and over again).
