Born from the challenges of independent freelance work we are a family of multidisciplinary creatives that encompass general practitioners alongside deep specialists. Our collective approach finds solutions through research, design and production. 

Anomalous Space is our home for creativity and collaboration, a flexible environment available to hire for your next shoot, workshop, presentation, meeting, pop up, film location or social event.

Client: Warp Records

GAIKA

Role: Video production and studio space.
Brief: Produce a set of visceral music videos to compliment the deep, dark and dirty sounds of GAIKA's first mixtape.
Response: GAIKA’s Machine EP, fused electronica, dancehall and grime beats with Brixton slang and Jamaican Patois. Working closely with Gaika and Sports Militia Anomalous created an aesthetic that echoed the brooding and often disturbing sounds of EP singles Blasphemer and Heco.
Outcome: Music videos previewed on Dazed Digital, the Guardian and featured on the artists / labels websites and socials.

London right now, it probably sounds a bit bleak; the mass closure of much-loved venues, house prices that only the rich can afford, rising racial tensions and increasingly no help for the down-trodden. However, scratch away its surface, and the deep, dark, anonymous city remains brimming with fearless art, just as it always has done – a testament to what can bleed from a gaping wound.
