The Big Outdoors
Role: Production, content programming and event management.
Brief: Create a range of fun activities to bring the local community together in an underused urban space.
Response: Working alongside the Youth Sports Trust, The Big Outdoors provided local residents with an introduction to parkour, rock climbing, cycling, judo, baseball, tennis and Zorb football. To keep the kids amused we introduced mural painting, storytelling workshops, kite making and an outdoor cinema while street food stalls and ice creams ensured energy levels were kept high.
Outcome: A two day family event at Clitterhouse Playing Fields, North London. The event was praised by locals and visitors for giving the underused outdoor space a new lease of life for the community.
